In situ intervention
This is an in situ intervention on an original engraving1 exposed on the museum wall, consisting of a thin line starting within the frame on the engraving and continuing on to the wall and the floor.
At a closer look this thin line is a the text of the certificate of authenticity.

Roman equestrian hero Marcus Curtius, a well known subject created by Goltzius. Signed by (Joos) Bosscher Excud and executed by HR.
